[ that's one of many reasons why she was never able to hate her husband. it isn't as though Kain spends his time entertaining himself with parties and recreation, leaving his wife behind to rot; he has always been the kind and dutiful sort. it was why she thought her life might change, back then. it's why her life didn't change. a witch like her simply isn't a good fit for an upstanding gentleman, and there's no story in which he saves her. ]


What a boring couple we are.
