S'fine. [ It's said gruffly, but not untruthfully. Because Gen really doesn't mind legging it to wherever it is Ruby plans on handing the jars over. The busywork of moving the jars around was never the issue. ] As long as you're the one who calls him over and hands'em over, I don't care. S'useful enough for me.

[ He's not saying it to coddle her, of course. (As if an insensitive shithead like him is capable of coddling anyone.)

It's just that ... the prospect of seeing Set face to face right now really does have an anxious knot twisting in the pit of his stomach, his emotions unable to find a proper vector. He's still furious at Set, hating him for interfering during the battle for the Oracle -- but a part of him also wants to make things right. A part of him still clings to memories of moments spent in Set's arms; a part of him still wants to believe in the promise of happiness in another lifetime, in another world. And so long as he's struggling to reconcile those two jagged halves of his mind, what Ruby can offers him is invaluable -- a surefire way of communicating to Set without actually having to look at him. ]
